Our volunteers are the heart of TechPals. As a volunteer, you'll work directly with seniors, helping them develop the digital skills they need to thrive in today's connected world.
No special technical expertise is required—just patience, empathy, and a willingness to learn and teach. We provide all the training and resources you'll need to be an effective volunteer.
Volunteer Roles:
- Digital Skills Instructor
- One-on-One Tech Coach
- Workshop Assistant
- Administrative Support
Help us expand our reach by starting a TechPals chapter in your community. As a chapter leader, you'll organize local workshops, recruit volunteers, and coordinate with community partners to bring digital literacy to seniors in your area.
We provide comprehensive support, including training, curriculum materials, and ongoing guidance to help your chapter succeed.
Steps to Create a Chapter:
- Gather a team of at least 3-5 committed volunteers
- Identify potential venues for workshops (libraries, community centers, senior centers)
- Reach out to local senior organizations to build partnerships
- Contact us to receive our Chapter Starter Kit and training
